MARE FOR SALE

I have a 14.2 piebald arab x mare 8 years old, excellent to handle in everyway, excellent in traffic.

Would make fantastic endurance horse as is forward going and will go all day long and then once dismounted will quite happily stand there and fall asleep!

TORNADO - SOLD

Martin "Django" Kiss unfortunately has to sell his best home grown foal Tornado out of his "Gypsy" (the cob he travelled round the uk on for 18 months) crossed to an Arab stallion.

This a horse with fantastic potential for endurance / western / trekking. He is now 5 years old, a beautiful 15..5HH blue and white Arab/Cob. Due to a medical problem Django has been stopped from riding but previous to that he had done some long distance training work with him. He can easily cover 27 miles in 3hrs 15mins (Swaledale to Appleby) and Swaledale to Kirby Stephen (12 to 13 miles in 1 hr). We would really like to find a home for this special gelding that would make use of his endurance potential.

It would be a shame for him not to be used for what he was bred for ....... long distance fast riding over all terrain.

Kruga is a 14.1hh Arab/Welsh gelding, a very young 20 year old.
Currently in Oxfordshire.

Kruga can live out all year round and has all his own rugs. He can be ridden but only a competent small adult would be suitable once he gains some fitness.

He is currently unshod but would need to be if he was to do road work. He is good to shoe, stable, clip, load and catch.

He is not to be sold and he can be moved to a suitable yard for the loan person, outside of the Oxfordshire area if necessary. I don’t mind if he is purely a companion pony. The main thing is he is looked after.

He is in very good health and in his youth he represented GB 5 times and was Junior Champion and National Champion.

He is not to do high mileage, but is more than capable of giving someone a lot of fun!

Endurance Horse Wanted - TIME EXPIRED

I am an advanced endurance rider and I live in Kent . My mare is not sound and sadly it looks as though she may be out of action for a while. I am looking for something to ride this summer. My daughter and I had planned to do a number of rides together. I am not really looking for a loan ( I would worry all the time), I would prefer to buy - but open to any ideas.

My mare is a laid back, easy going 16hh ISH. I am looking for something similar. I am fairly tall and could not ride anything smaller than 15.3hh.

We can offer an excellent home to the right horse. I am looking for a sound horse with good manners - no vices. Needs to load easily and travel well. Needs to be good in traffic as our roads are really busy. Please could you all keep look out for something suitable. Your help is appreciated.

10 years old. 14.2 h.h. Purchased as a recently backed 6 year old in 2004. His subsequent education has been restricted by the purchaser's own ill health in three of the four following years. Never-the-less he has attended a pleasure ride.
He is happy going first, last, alone or in company.
He is sensible with all traffic encountered in our country lanes and is good with the farrier.

I have now given up riding and Sadiq is looking for a new home where he can enjoy a more active life. He is long striding and easy to get fit. He would be suitable for either a competitive or pleasure home.

I have had this trailer from new and could not recommend it enough, unfortunately we have a new horse which is too big for the trailer so have to upsize!

The trailer takes 2 16.2 horses, it also has installed and in full working order a 2 ring gas hob and a sink, a seating area with fold down table and plenty of storage under the seating. We have had extra window installed in the horse area for optimum ventillation, the horses travel backwards which seems to suit them very well.
