AIDING SIX CHARITIES:

Each Riding for the Disabled Group has to operate as an individual charity!

Chester and Wirral Riding for the Disabled operates from the Foxes Riding School in Ledsham and the Wirral Riding Centre in Ness. Over 4500 rides for 250 disabled riders were provided last year. Funds raised will be specifically used to purchase additional rides for disabled riders.

Mid Cheshire Riding for the Disabled operates from New Barn Farm, Ollerton, Knutsford and helps around 60 disabled riders per week. The group borrows ponies, but also owns two...Mac T and Nashend Linkwood. The funds raised will go towards the livery and upkeep of these two ponies.

Every year the National Foaling Bank unites hundreds of orphan foals with foster mares who have lost their own foals. National Foaling Bank provides help and advice on difficult foaling cases, twenty-four hour nursing, and information about colestrum, milk replacements, and special dietary requirements. Operating on a "shoestring" budget the organisation relies on donations, sponsorship, and a membership scheme to ensure the work continues.
